White paper layers, Perspex and light / 2008 / 95 x 65 cm

The title of this piece is the name of the city where the photograph was taken before it was transferred to a relief of white paper layers that create a wide spectrum of grey shades with the help of the rear light when it is turned on. The image of the clouds in the sky is inspired by classic Japanese textile pattern.
