20 layers of  Veneer, Paper and light / 2011 / 40 x 120 cm

An imaginary landscape view that addresses the historic perils that accompanied the lives of lighthouse keepers: the danger of the lighthouse catching on fire, and warning sailors away from crashing into dry land.

The paper and veneer layers are glued one on top another, and an internal light fixture exposes the material’s transparency and the wood patterns.
