Sand on cardboard / 2012 / Varying sizes
Old engraved Chinese window frames were the basis for my work “Windows of modernity”.
After a visual research and photography of the Taiwanese urban environment,
I set out to create a surreal vision of urban motives that replaced the common and traditional rural patterns with new ones.
Images that requires the viewer a second look in order to come into light.
